Both beach and bush walks are at your doorstep. The New Zealand Government's Department of Conservation has established extensive coastal and bush tracks in the area for the public to enjoy.

Helifishing The full range is available, from rock fishing and surfcasting off the beach at Nebeska Vala, to boat fishing, and big game fishing from January to May.

Diving

DivingTry snorkelling around the rocks at Nebeska Vala. Directly offshore some of the world's best diving can be had at the Poor Knight Islands. The Poor Knight Islands is a world heritage marine park. Sightseeing, dive and underwater photographic trips are organised through Dive Tututaka.

Golf

GolfThere are 6 golf courses to choose from within an hour's drive of Nebeska Vala. Further up the coast lies Kauri Cliffs. Internationally rated for both its design and spectacular setting, Kauri Cliffs is a must for golfers seeking something special.

Swimming/Surfing

SurfingAll beaches in the Whananaki area are safe for swimming. A few minutes walk from Nebeska Vala is beautiful Mouresses Bay and premier surfing spot.
